How do I register?
Registration is easy and straightforward. All you have to do is follow 3 simple steps:
1. Choose a nickname and password.

Remember to pick a nickname that is unique so that we know it's you when your nickname appears
on TV. You can check to see if your nickname is available by clicking on 'Check availability'.

2. Confirm your email address.

3. Create your VUZU profile.

How do I log in?
If you already have a profile on KykNet, M-Net, Oboma or MK, VUZU already knows who you are and you can log in on the top right of any VUZU page. If you are a new user, you need to confirm your email address by clicking on the link in the email. Once you have confirmed your email address you can enter your nickname and password on the top right of any VUZU page.

Help I have forgotten my password?
Click on the 'Forgotten password?' link at the top of any VUZU page and give us the email address that you registered with. We will then send you an email reminder of with your nickname and password.

Can I register from my mobile phone on the VUZU mobile site?
Yes you can. Type in http://m.vuzu.tv in your phone's internet browser.
Click on the 'Join' link.

Enter your username, Age, Location, Gender, Email Adress and a password.

How do I see my profile on TV?
Make sure you're registered by clicking on "register" and filling in your details. The more interesting and full your profile is, the more likely it is to make it to TV.

Why was my content not posted?
If you have uploaded content that does not comply with our terms and conditions it will not be posted. This includes but is not limited to: Obscene content, content which is racially inflamatory, or content which is publicly available or otherwise in copyright. Please note that VUZU.tv is a moderated website. Your content will be moderated and then put live so there may be a delay.

Where do I find the TV Guide?
At the top of the page here, click on Schedule.

How do I find my friends on VUZU?
Click on Meet at the top of any of the VUZU pages. Look for the search box in the middle of the page and enter their nickname. Don't forget to add them as a friend.

How do I upload a pic to my Vuzu profile?
Click on 'Share' at the top of any VUZU page. Remember to make sure that you are logged in.
Click on Browse.

Select your image on your computer.

Add a title and description

Click on Upload

* Remember the size restriction for pictures is 4MB and your image needs to be in one fo the following file formats: gif, jpeg, jpg, png or bmp.

How do I text to TV?
First things first, you can only text to TV if you are a registered member of VUZU.tv. Look at the first help question (on this page) to find out how to register.

Once registered, there are several ways to get yourself on TV, choose the most convenient of the options below: 1. You can text us via twitter, connect with VuzuLive, send your msg to vuzu live and it will appear on the strap above.

2. You can txt us via our wap site on m.vuzu.tv (or www.vuzu.tv/wap) - simply scroll down to "message to tv", fill in your number EXACTLY in the format it shows you and voila!

3. You can text us via the Vuzu website: www.vuzu.tv, click on "message to tv" on the right hand side.

4. You can text us via Mxit - under Tradepost -> Mxit Mix -> Entertainment add the Vuzu bot

5. You can SMS us on 34583

How do I edit my profile?
You can edit your profile at anytime! Once you have successfully logged in you can edit your profile by editing the tabs called "About Me", "Login Details", "Interests", "Personal" and "Top 10". Please remember to select "Save My Details" once you have updated any profile information.

How can I upload Videos to my VUZU profile?
Click on 'Share' at the top of any VUZU page. Remember to make sure that you are logged in.
Click on Browse.

Select your video on your computer.

Add a title and description

Click on Upload

* Remember the size restriction for videos is 30MB and your video needs to be in one of the following file formats: 3GP, avi, mov, mpeg or mgp.

Why can't I see my pic or video?
There is a small delay where your image or video goes into a queing system to see that it meets the requirements of the VUZU network. Once it has been approved, you will be able to see it on your profile.

I've uploaded an image / video but now I want to delete it. How do I do this?
Easy. Login into the site and go to either the video or the photo tab. Next to each image there is a red button with a cross. Clicking on this button will disable your photo or video. To enable the photo or video simply select the green button with a triangle. Disabled photos and videos will still remain in your profile however users will not be able to see this video when viewing your profile.

Does it cost money to access the site from my mobile phone?
If you are registered and a subscriber, there is no additional access charges for using The VUZU.tv network via wap on your mobile phone. Your standard Network Operator charges will apply for the mobile data that you transfer.

How do I post a comment?
You can leave comments on any the The VUZU.tv network just click the "Comment This..." button and type your comments into the comments panel. Please note you must be logged in to leave comments.

Posting guidelines
The VUZU.tv network is a service that allows its responsible members to upload image and video content. (Please read the 'Terms & Conditions' for full details). You must own the rights to all content posted (including all photos and videos). Content can be professionally shot or self-generated, however you must own the rights to it. All content must be 'self generated' (recorded either by yourself or friends, and you must have all rights to content not recorded by yourself).

How do I remove my profile?
If you feel that you no longer want to be part of the The VUZU.tv network, you can remove your profile completely by entering your username and password into the Remove Me page.

How do I report a problem?
If you are experiencing problems with the service or would like to report a bug please email the The VUZU.tv network support team at editor@vuzu.tv and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Everything you need to know about the video player.
This is a big one and there could be several reasons why VUZU videos aren't working on your PC. Let's break it down:

1.1 What do I need?

In order to watch videos on our site, make sure you have access to the following system requirements:

1. Windows XP or higher with latest updates installed
2. Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
3. Firefox 3+, Internet Explorer 7+, Safari 4+ , Chrome 2+, or Opera 9+
4. Adobe Flash Player 9+
5. Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps

1.4 Can I download the videos?
No. You can only watch them through the browser based player.

1.5 Will the video work in my phone’s web browser?
If your phone’s browser supports flash it may work. This is untested.

1.6 How do I share video?
This feature is coming soon.

1.7 How do I embed video into my blog?
1) Mouse over the player and icon to embed the clip will appear on the top left hand side.
2) Now mouse over the icon and a pop-up will appear with the embed tag.
3) Copy and paste this tag into the HTML of your blog post to embed the video.

1.8 Does the watching video use local or international bandwidth?
Our video is server from an international content distribution network (CDN). You will require international bandwidth to watch it.

2 Known Issues

2.1 Proxy Servers
You may experience an error 201 message when attempting to play video when connecting to the internet through a proxy server. Bypass the proxy server if possible.

2.2 Connection Speed
Slow internet connection will result in lagging video. Ensure that you have a fast, stable internet connection of at least 500 kbps.

3.1 I can’t play the video, what do I do now?
Turn off your computer and go outside and play.
